What You Need to Know
Circa offers several payment methods to make it easier for residents to pay rent. The best (and cheapest option) is to link your bank account. Pay by ACH for free! We also accept credit/debit cards and cash, which have transaction charges. If you choose to pay by cash, here’s how it works.
- Choose Cash Payment Method - Select cash as your payment method and choose your payment date in the Circa app or online. If you change to cash from a different payment method, you must allow at least 24 hours before you can proceed to step 2.
- Generate Barcode - Ahead of your payment, you will receive an email with THIS LINK that allows you to access a specific barcode you’ll need to make your payment. Any time after 12:00 ET the day before your payment is due, click the link in the email. This will take you to Circa’s cash payment website. Here you will enter your Circa LeaseID and your zip code. You will then select the retailer you’ll visit to make your payment. The app will then generate a barcode specific to this payment.
- Save the Barcode - You’ll need to have this barcode when you pay at the retailer you choose. You can save or email the barcode to yourself. Important Note: The barcode is specific to that retailer. You can visit a different location for the retailer you choose, but you can’t visit a different retailer. For example, if you select Walmart, you can use that barcode at any Walmart. But you if select Walmart, that barcode will not work if you take it to CVS.
- Pay Cash at Retailer - Take your barcode to the register or customer service desk at the retailer you selected. The associate will scan your barcode. You will also see a small transaction fee added by the retailer. You can then make your payment. If you have any issues, call Circa Support at 844-274-7747.
- Circa App Update - It may take a couple days for Circa’s app to reflect your payment the next day. But don’t worry, your payment will be settled to your property the next business day and your payment will be reflected as of your payment date.
